New Students

Welcome to Balanced Yoga. To makes this as easy as possible for you, we recommend that you read through the information on this page, and complete the new student registration form prior to your first class with us. We hope you enjoy your yoga experience with us!

If you are brand new to yoga, we would recommend you undertake our beginners course before starting in our general yoga classes. Our beginners courses run for 8 weeks, during school terms. Our next course is due to start on 18 October, and enrolments are open now.

By completing the new student registration form online,  not only do you save time and paper in the stuido, you also create an account in mindbody, our online booking system, which allows you to book in and pay for classes and workshops online. By booking in online, you are guaranteeing yourself a place in the class. The form also contains important health information we need to ensure your safety.

After you have completed the form, you will be redirected to the mind body site, where you can view our timetable, make purchases and book into classes.

Initially, we recommend you purchase the 10 day introductory offer. This offer is available to all new students of Balanced Yoga. This gives you the opportunity to try as many of our classes as you can, over 10 consecutive days, and determine which style of class, and which teachers, you prefer.

Your 10 days starts from the first class you attend. If you buy the pass, and then don’t get around to using it for a couple of months, it doesn’t matter, it is still valid. Your 10 day trial will start with the first class you attend.

We recommend you book in online for any classes you are wishing to attend. Our classes are capped at 20 people, and if you haven’t booked in, and the class is full, unfortunately we won’t be able to accommodate you. It also recommended that you pay for your class online before coming to the studio, once again to save time and streamline the whole process.

If you have your own yoga mat, we recommend that you bring that along. If not, then we do have mats available in studio for your use.

Wear comfortable exercise clothes, and bring a drink bottle.
