Balanced Yin/Restorative

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A combination of Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga, this class offers restorative rejuvenation for the mind, body and spirit. Through the use of props and by holding the poses for longer, this class allows your muscles to release and relax, and your mind and body to restore. A great class to help you eliminate the rigours of modern life. Goodbye stress and fatigue.
LEVEL: Beginners to advanced

Balanced Yang Yin

WHAT TO EXPECT:

THE perfect combination of a fast paced class at the beginning with an opening, stretching and relaxing class at the end. This class is for everyone. A combination of either our Balanced Flow class at the beginning followed by our Balanced Yin class. The power and the passion! If ever you need a class, this one is it!

Balanced Yin

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A relaxing and restorative class where the poses are held for long periods of time, giving your body a chance to relax, rejuvenate and let go. We all need this class and if you don’t think you can find time in your hectic schedule to fit this one in, you need it more than anyone else. Allow yourself some time, to rebuild and renew during this amazing class. You will come out of it feeling like a new person.
LEVEL: Beginners to advanced

Balanced Mobility

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This gentle class makes yoga accessible to everyone. We use chairs and other props, and modified version of poses, to allow you to experience yoga when you may not have the ability to move as freely as perhaps you once did, or that you would like to. This class is particularly good for our older clients, those that are overweight and struggle with movement, those returning from injuries, or anyone wanting a gentle class. We will help you get back your movement, and provide you with some gentle exercise, we will work on your flexibility and of course, use our movements to connect our breath, body and mind, to calm your soul.
LEVEL: Beginners

Balanced Flow

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Suitable for beginners right through to advanced students, this class blends balance, strength, flexibility and balance in a flowing style. Often referred to as a Vinyasa class.

Balanced Restorative

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This class is all about resetting our souls in this hectic, fast paced world we are living. Take 60 minutes out of your week to allow your body and soul to be restored through the use of gentle flowing movements, pranyama (breathing) techniques, restorative and or yin yoga and meditation.
LEVEL: Any level

Balanced Anusara Yoga

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This is a 90 min Anusara® class that explores intermediate to advanced postures, and may include pranayama (breath work), meditation and mantra practices. The class moves at a steady pace incorporating clear alignment instructions that connect to the heart and serve as an invitation to explore the depths of an embodied practice. Each class is unique and underpinned with tantric philosophy.
LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced

Balanced Challenge

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A strong vinyasa class, that will challenge you, although modifications will be offered for those not looking to work as hard. More challenging or advanced poses will be offered in this class.
LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced

Balanced Foundations

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This is a full spectrum alignment based class focusing on foundational poses, breath practices and underpinned with yoga philosophy. This class is ideal for anyone who wants a balanced and grounded practice- including Beginners.

Frontline Yoga

WHAT TO EXPECT:

For those who have to be ‘on’ all day for their occupation, we provide Yoga to help you switch off at the end of a shift. Classes are free for Police, Fire fighters, Paramedics, Defence Force members past and present, Medical professionals (including Doctors, nurses, medical staff), Mental health professionals (counsellors, Psychiatrists, Psycologists), RFS volunteers, SES volunteers, Supporters of our Frontline guardians (spouses, family, friends and colleagues).
LEVEL: Beginners

Balanced Slow Flow

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A gentle vinyasa class, Slow Flow links both mindful movement and meditation. A slower style of practice, we strip the postures back to their purest forms- gentle movement and the breath- finishing with a 20 minute guided meditation and delicious long savasana (relaxation) at the end. A must try for anyone looking for relaxation and restoring.
